What is the best way to find information on home prices for the sale of a particular neighborhood?
I know this information public domain if you visit in person to the local government office, but I was wondering if anyone out there know of a research Web site. Thanks!
I agree with the previous answer. Zillow is your best bet. The problem is "O Zestimates. The values inflated real estate agents and homeowners can find more photos and detailed characteristics of their homes for sale. Else listed on the site have the minimum data transfers to the tax records which may include remodeling, the increase in square feet is the state house, etc. You are left, sometimes to compare apples with bananas. For information about a neighborhood, you can get help of a realtor who could run or e-mail that sold you your ads specific to your criteria. They perform free. My business site of the Office JohnLscott.com "sold" data and lists of properties available to the public. JLS is problem with that is just in Washington, Oregon and Idaho and has sold data is only available to Washington. Other real estate at the national level can jump on this bandwagon in the future, but for now, I think John L. Scott is the only real estate company offers. As a PS, can try googliing "sold property data" and your area to see if there is property agents in your area for public access on their websites.
